What makes a retail-grade snapback different from a promotional snapback?
Retail-grade snapbacks use 80/20 acrylic-wool or melton wool fabric, full buckram structure in all 6 panels, premium plastic snap, and tighter stitching tolerances. Promotional grade typically uses 100% polyester, partial structure, and looser tolerances. The cost difference is roughly 30-40%; the retail perception difference is much larger.
Can you produce snapbacks with a custom-color snap closure?
Yes. At 500+ pieces we can produce snaps in custom Pantone-matched colors (mold setup applies). At 100-499 pieces you choose from our 8 standard snap colors. Hidden snap (no visible snap on the rear) is also available for premium drops.
What is the lead time for a 300-piece streetwear capsule?
Sampling: 7-12 days. Bulk: 25-32 days after PPS approval. Total order-to-delivery: 6-8 weeks air, 9-11 weeks sea. We can prioritize a capsule for a drop date if you book the production slot 2-3 weeks ahead.
Do you keep the brim sticker on, or remove it?
Your choice. Many streetwear brands keep the brim sticker for that retail-fresh look; others prefer to remove. We can apply a custom-branded sticker (with your logo, season code or capsule name) for a small upcharge — common for premium drops and limited editions.
What's the MOQ for a leather-patch snapback?
100 pieces per design. Leather patch setup includes a die-cut tooling fee on the first run (amortized over the order). Real leather options include full-grain cowhide, vegetable-tanned and Italian Saffiano; synthetic / vegan leather is also available.
Can you produce snapbacks for licensed sports or music merchandise?
Yes — we hold WRAP and Sedex SMETA 4-Pillar audits required by most licensors. We have produced for collegiate, MLB-style and music-tour programs. We sign IP/NDA agreements and can ship to your authorized distributor.
