Orders & MOQ
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom hats?
Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces per design and color. Sampling is available from 1 piece. For complex multi-color logos or premium fabric upgrades, the MOQ can be lowered with a small per-piece surcharge.
Can I mix multiple colors within the same MOQ?
Yes. For a single design with multiple colorways, you can split the 100-piece MOQ as 50/50 or 60/40 between two colors. For 3+ colors, each color requires a minimum 30-piece allocation to maintain pricing efficiency.
Do you accept very small orders (under MOQ)?
For sampling, yes — single-piece samples are routine. For sub-MOQ "test batches", we can produce 50 pieces with a 15-20% surcharge per piece, on a case-by-case basis.
What is your largest production capacity?
Single-order capacity is up to 100,000 pieces. Annual capacity exceeds 2 million caps. For 50,000+ piece programs, we recommend a multi-shipment delivery schedule with rolling production.
Sampling & Lead Time
How long does sampling take?
Standard sample lead time is 7-12 days from artwork approval. Express samples can be ready in 5 days with a small surcharge.
How long is bulk production?
20-30 days for standard styles, depending on quantity and decoration complexity. Express production option available — 15 days for orders up to 1,000 pieces.
Can you compress lead time for a rush order?
Yes. We maintain a "Premium Production Line" that runs orders with 15-day target. Sample lead time can drop to 5 days. Pre-booked fabric eliminates 5-7 days. Air express shipping eliminates sea transit. Total order-to-door of 25-30 days is achievable for rush projects.
How does Chinese New Year affect production?
Our factory closes for 2 weeks around CNY (late January-mid February). Place orders by early November for pre-CNY shipment, or by early January for late-March shipment.
Decoration & Customization
What logo decoration techniques do you offer?
Nine techniques, all in-house: 3D puff embroidery, flat embroidery, woven patch, leather patch, PVC patch, screen print, sublimation, applique and laser etch. Mix and match within one cap is supported.
What is the maximum number of colors in embroidery?
Up to 15 thread colors per design without color stops. Beyond 15, the machine must rotate to a second color setup, slightly slowing production.
How do you match Pantone colors?
Embroidery thread: we maintain 400+ Madeira and Isacord thread colors with Pantone references. Fabric dyeing: Pantone TCX matching available with 3-5 day color-strike-off prior to bulk dyeing.
What file format should I send for my logo?
Vector (AI, EPS, PDF) preferred. PNG/JPG at 300 dpi on transparent background works as fallback. Provide Pantone TCX/PMS color references. We provide free digitizing for embroidery from any usable source file.

What fabrics do you work with?
200+ fabric options including cotton twill (6.4-8 oz), wool blends, polyester, microfiber, ripstop, suede, corduroy, denim, terry, mesh, plus recycled (rPET, recycled cotton) and certified organic options.
Do you offer sustainable materials?
Yes. GOTS-certified organic cotton, GRS-certified recycled polyester (rPET / REPREVE®), recycled cotton blends, hemp, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 across our fabric supply chain.
What certifications do you hold?
BSCI, Sedex SMETA 4-pillar, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (fabric supply), GRS (recycled materials), GOTS (organic cotton on request). CPSIA-compliant testing for children's headwear, REACH-compliant for EU exports.
Can I use my own third-party inspector?
Yes — SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, QIMA or any inspector you nominate, at any production milestone. No restrictions, no surcharge.
Shipping & Payment
What shipping methods do you support?
FOB, CIF, EXW and DDP. Air express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) for samples and small orders. Sea LCL for 100-500 pcs. Sea FCL for 5,000+ pcs. Door-to-door DDP available for US, EU, UK, Canada and Australia.
How much is shipping?
Air express typically $10-30 per kg depending on volume and destination. Sea LCL approximately $50-90 per CBM. Sea FCL $1,500-$4,500 per 20'GP container depending on destination. DDP quotes provided per shipment including duties.
What payment terms do you offer?
Standard: 30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment via T/T. Also accepted: LC at sight (repeat customers), PayPal (orders under $5,000), Alibaba Trade Assurance (first-time orders).
Do you handle import customs clearance?
For DDP shipments, yes — we manage end-to-end customs clearance in the destination country through our forwarder network. For FOB/CIF, you arrange clearance with your own broker.
After Sale & Reorders
How do reorders work?
Once we have produced your design, all tech-pack data and digitized embroidery files are archived. Reorders skip the digitizing step and typically have 3-5 days shorter total lead time than first orders.
What happens if I find defects after delivery?
Send photographic evidence within 14 days. If validated as outside AQL 2.5 tolerance, we reproduce affected pieces in your next order at no charge, or issue a credit note for the disputed value.
Do you keep my designs confidential?
Yes. We sign NDA on request and never share customer designs, brand names, or production volumes with third parties. Your tech-packs and digitized files are not accessible outside your dedicated project team.
